28–32°CPeak summer — hot, lively, buzzing. Book early. The sea is bath-warm and perfect.
September
26–28°CArguably the best month. Still very warm, the crowds thin, and prices ease. Highly recommended.
October
20–23°CThe island quietens beautifully. Warm enough for the terrace, still swimmable in early October.
Don't underestimate September. The water is at its warmest, the tavernas are still open and lively, but the queues at Paleokastritsa have gone. Hire a small boat for the day, pack a picnic from the bakery in Kassiopi, and head north to find a cove that's entirely yours. That's Corfu at its very best.
